Bespoke joinery: alcoves, stairs, shop-made kitchens, and a north-city coverage list.
Bespoke joinery · Glasnevin
Bespoke joinery for Dublin houses — kitchens, stairs, alcove units. Measured on site. Made in the shop.
We take urgent hang-and-make-safe work. Full builds still go through a measure.
Joinery is rarely a 2am trade. If it can wait until morning, we will say so.
What we do
Bespoke joinery runs on templates and shop drawings — not guesses.
01
Templates, levels, and how the room is used.
02
Approve grain, ironmongery, and finish before we cut.
03
Solid timber or veneer, finished under dust extraction.
04
Scribe, hang, adjust, and leave care notes.
Trust
Public liability on site and in the shop.
You sign a sheet before we cut.
Oak and ash specified by name.
The maker hangs the work. No third van.
The firm
North Joinery builds fitted work in Glasnevin and installs it ourselves. Alcove bookcases, stair refinishes, kitchen carcasses in oak and painted MDF. You see a sample, then a drawing, then a date. We do not outsource the hanging to a crew you have never met.

Neighbours
“Alcove units that actually follow the chimney breast. No filler strips.”
“Stairs refinished in a week. The house still smelled like timber, not solvent.”
“They talked us out of a full kitchen. The doors and island were enough.”
Coverage

Before you book
Yes — public liability and employer’s cover. We can email the certs with the quote.
Yes. Call the number on the site. If it is after hours we tell you the rate before we roll.
No. We build in the shop. Ironmongery is specified with you. We will not hang a door that does not match the lining.
Simple alcoves: two to four weeks. Kitchens: we put a date on the drawing, not on the first email.
